HR Business Partner

We are looking for an HR Business Partner in the Netherlands to join our team.

This is a perfect role if you get excited by the idea of implementing, monitoring and executing all HR processes. You will be responsible for the whole employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding, including performance management and learning & development.

We are your single point of contact and your owner representative, responsible for the entire supply chain contributing to your short and long-term visions and strategies. 

The opportunity

As an HR Business Partner, you will analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the Management Team to develop solutions, programs, and policies. You will manage and resolve (complex) employee relations issues. You will be responsible for:

  • Recruitment and onboarding of new joiners
    • Responsible for recruiting and onboarding new HFC colleagues
    • Establish a recruiting and interviewing program, counsel the manager on candidate selection, conduct and analyze exit interviews, and recommend changes if needed
    • Implement onboarding procedures to make sure the new hire hits the ground running
  • Performance management
    • Partner with business leaders and people managers to understand their talent needs, including workforce planning, and provide guidance and expertise on succession planning and performance best practices
    • Partner at a company and a team level and provide coaching on people-related topics
  • Learning & Development
    • Embrace and implement various types of training
    • Assess the success of development plans to keep optimizing
  • Compensation & Benefits
    • Coordinate with the Leadership Team to develop the compensation philosophy and share recommendations to ensure market competitiveness globally


NL Location note:

You have to be currently based in the Netherlands, without visa requirements. We can’t sponsor or relocate someone for this position. Our office location is Amsterdam, and the role requires working onsite from our hotels.

It’s the broadest HR Business Partner role as possible, and a huge learning opportunity if you are interested in all aspects of this field.


What we need you to bring

  • University level (Dutch equivalent of HBO) in Human Resources management.
  • At least 5 years of work experience as HR Partner/Manager
  • Experience in a Hospitality business environment
  • Experience with different cultures and labour laws.
  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly within a multinational environment.
  • Experience with HR systems and reporting tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Willingness to travel, HQ is Adam and home office.
