We are looking for a decisive Director Europe to join HFC. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of operational experience with emphasis on hospitality/facility services, and has the competence to inspire the team to keep the business sailing in the right direction.
PURPOSE OT THE ROLE
As the Director Europe you are the strategic partner for our major clients, by leading the client accounts. It defines all aspects of the account evolution, including service levels, contract development, team development, expansion (geography / scope), and financial performance. You are responsible for the management of all facilities services, projects and workplace planning of the client’s locations across all countries to ensure an innovative, creative, consistent, and high level of service delivery and compliance. In addition, you will oversee P&L responsibility for ~40 Mio+, over 8 countries and 30 properties.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops positive relationships with the client for all facilities services issues in the region(s). Manage a full P&L responsibility for Europe
- Develop new programs or processes to improve the client's quality/costs/performance.Continuously improve the quality/cost/performance of the FM service delivery within the region. Owns and executes improvement initiatives
- Reviews and negotiates contract documents to ensure consistency and adherence with the client master contract and HFC's corporate standards
- Develops an annual consolidated facility budget, feasibility analysis and cost-benefit analysis for the region(s) with input from the Operational team
- Coordinates regular performance reviews between customers and HFC, as outlined in the contract or as appropriate, to enhance client relationships, identify areas for improvement, and manage suitable action plans
- Demonstrates tangible leadership and relationship management skills across primary client stakeholders and HFC teams
- Ensures compliance following the HFC platform
- Participates in and engages with internal and external organizations to support the HFC brand
- Maintains responsibility for hiring, training, compensation, performance tracking and satisfaction of employees.
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
- Ten years of operational experience with emphasis on hospitality/facility services
- Minimum University level (Dutch equivalent of HBO) (preferred Hotel school)
- Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex business documents
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues
- Ability to write reports, presentations, and recommendations using an effective and distinctive style
- Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take the desired action
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
