Hospitality Support Group is rapidly growing and looking for a young, ambitious Project Coordinator to join our team that specializes in hotel consultancy, development, investment, and procurement. Working alongside the Project Director, you will help manage all projects and will be the backbone of our team. Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day project management support across key projects
  • Assist with costing, planning, budgeting, resourcing and monitoring of projects
  • Help prepare project materials: reports, spreadsheets, presentations, meeting materials, etc.
  • Assist with market and feasibility studies for various (new) projects
  • Assist analysis- and procurement department on request
  • Keeping track of the latest trends and development in the hospitality industry
  • First point of contact for all our clients

Qualifications and skills

  • Good organizational skills
  • Able to actively manage and collaborate with project team
  • Positive attitude and not afraid to speak up or take initiative
  • Basic understanding of or affinity with hotel operation fundamentals
  • Advanced excel skills and solid understanding of all Microsoft Office products (Outlook/Word)
  • Communicate with colleagues and third parties effective and professionally
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Experience

This exciting opportunity would ideally suit an ambitious individual who has 0 to 3 years work experience and is eager to learn and develop him- or herself. Previous experience of working within the hotel industry is preferable.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration (Hotelschool), Facility Management, Business Studies, Real Estate or similar.

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and an enthusiastic approach, with a real passion for hospitality. He or she will have the ambition to grow and learn on the job, taking on more responsibility within the project management team. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, often with challenging deadlines, the Project Assistant should have excellent attention to detail and good writing and communication skills.
